Overview.

This AC output drive can be used for controlling your AC devices. It is easily connected and will work with 220Vac or 110Vac.

 

Main Features
Opto-Isolated Inputs.
Isolates input connections to protect your computer from shorts circuits. An opto-isolator is an integrated circuit that transmits the signal through an encapsulated LED and photo-transistor, when the signal is present, the LED lights, and the photo-transistor captures it, and relays the signal. That way your computer’s electronics is completely isolated from your circuitry.

All TTL +5VDC or +3.3VDC Signals.
Interface directly with parallel port interface products and other cards. 5VDC (TTL) signals are very common among automation devices.

Works With the Parallel Port Breakout Board.
Connect easily with the Parallel Interface Board, or any port pin.

Works directly with popular CNC hardware and software. . Such as Geckodrive, DeskCNC or Rutex, and parallel port control software, such as Cambam, mach2, Linux EMC, TurboCNC, CNCPlayer, CNCZeus and others (Not all tested)

Controls 4 AC devices per card.

Outputs 3 at 10amp and 1 x 30 amp. Keep in mind that motors can draw up to 3 times as much current on startup. Use ˝ the rated current when using this device w=at 220Vac.

Independent fuses for each connection.

Comes with an RJ45 Connector fast installation. With this connector you just have to plug in an standard RJ45 cable and will not require further wiring.

You can use as many cards as you need as long as you have enough output signals to switch the circuits. Connect inputs in parallel to enable more than one switch with one input signal as long as your desired function will allow. 

Installation

Use the 30 amp circuit for motors up to 12 amps and the 10 amp circuits for motors and devices up 5 amps.

When using 220Vac use only ˝ the recommended amperage. Keep in mind that motors can draw up to 3 times the rated current on startup.

Wiring.

This card works as a set of 4 normally open switches that enables connection if power is supplied to the card and a signal is provided to the appropriate input pin.
